Mühlbach am Hochkönig
Hochkönig is a mountain massif in the Zell am See district of the Salzburg Land. It consists of the 3 small, mountain towns of Mühlbach am Hochkönig, Dienten and Maria Alm.
The Hochkönig ski area has over 120 km of slopes with 33 lifts and cable cars. It consists of interconnected peaks. The Königstour circuit allows you to conquer 35 km of slopes and an impressive 7,500 meters of altitude change in a single day. The area is a part of the Ski-Amade where you can ski on a single ski pass from Schladming through Gastein, Zell am See and Kaprun on your way to Saalbach Hinterglemm.
In summer, the area transforms into a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. There are many stunning hikes in the surrounding mountains.
